Category Lead Personnel (Secondment)

A major resource sector company was undertaking a restructure of their existing contracts and procurement delivery model, implementing a category approach. RESOURCE2SOURCE was engaged to provide experienced procurement personnel into the roles of Category Lead. Each Category Lead was responsible for cost analysis, category strategy input, contract planning, management of change, transition of existing contracts, stakeholder engagement with technical stakeholders, and management of the staff assigned to each category team.

These temporary roles were transitioned successfully to the Client’s full time senior contracts personnel at the completion of the 6 month transition period.
